Rora updates!

Hey guys, i decided to take a break from work and write this instead so that you have a little look at my hectic life. I have so much work to do! But its slowly decreasing :) I guess since this term started i've been slacking more and more to the point that once i get home i don't do any work other than maths because i like it! Now everything has suddenly caught up with me and i HAVE to do it now. Ohh i want a strawberries and cream frapp now :( I only realised the other day how often i get lie-ins and its like, never. Not even on a sunday! Monday-friday i'll get up at around 6.45 for college, then saturday 8am somtimes for piano lessons then work and on sundays 7.30 because i take extra long to get ready and also sometimes i'm on the hospitality team. Sooo i can't wait for the christmas holidays because i'll then be able to sleeeeeeeep a lottt!! :D

I really don't know why I'm up when I should be sleeping.
I'm not going for our school's athletics day tomorrow, cause my mum says I am still 'sick'.
My voice/throat isn't getting any better either.

Although my grandma (in brunei) is getting better! praise GOD! I went to visit her this evening and I prayed for her. When I let go off her hand, her hand kept fidgeting.. as if she's missing something.

I wasted $100 on my hair today, because I don't even like the colour the saloon people dyed it. (the highlight anyway, so ugly ah.) so I highlighted a few myself with my own dye a few hours ago, and it's redder now. When school's over, I'll go crazy on my hair :) I still plan to have extremely red (like a nice red, not the kind of red that turns orange -____- lame much!) , purple, dark blue and dark green hair! oh and black too.

It was really nice seeing Joyce today :)

I feel like, in schools like SAS, there's more 'unity' than JIS. Seriously. I watched their nativity play rehearsal just now and it was soooo good! We should really diss Shakespeare and head over to more modern musical stuff that is more enligtening, seriously!

I miss Matthew Ng (who went to miri), Muiz Idris (UK), Soon (UK), Alicia Newn (UK), Mateen Bolkiah (10minutes away from me), Sterwina Kho (Miri), Afif (brunei, but rarely see him), Azeem Omar Ali (brunei, but dissed AYA for football :P), ASHRAF!!! (brunei), Sarah Rahman (Brunei, havent seen her in ageeeees), Wajeeh Alikhan (UK :(..), Mohsin Abdul Rahziq (SUDAN)... and the list goes on and on and onn~~ but most importantly, I miss RORA CHOW!!! :(

So get this. I was browsing through last year's summer pictures in UK. Man, so many memories came back to life hahaha (MORE THAN LIFE -BSB**) and yeah I really miss you Rora. Please call me? I can never know what buttons to press to reach you. Message me when you can. Sometimes when you don't reply, I always think you never get my message haha. It gets lonely here. I admit this week was a pretty tough week. Just when you are doing good in something, there will always be people biting against your back because they have nothinge lse better to do! but it's all g0o0o0od :) whenever I'm feeling lousy or heavy hearted I always remember all the things He has done for me in the past year, and how I was before I really literally, physically, spiritually, mentally, wholefulally, whateverlally, got saved. Like, SAVED man. then I'm thankful, and I'm glad. I guess when I always look at my pictures, the pictures I take in school, almost everyone in those pictures are gone. and I really miss them so much. I know they are coming back, they always do, but it takes awhile. but then again, time passes by really quickly.... so that's weird. Time is an element in which I haven't quite grasped the structure of- yet.

All these illogical sentences really scream out "FRIENDS". because all this blablablablabb...

well, I just miss my friends. that's all.

I don't think I'll ever understand why a handful of them had to leave all at once, at the same time. but I'm hecka sure God has his perfect timing for them :) in everything that they do. I just feel at peace knowing God is taking care of them. They are great people. Probably the best group of people I will ever have as school friends, and really; brothers and sisters.

I just bought Planetshaker's Never Stop! from Wan Shing for 20 bucks, a good deal I must say. Well the hectic week is over, and I have an upcoming english literature timed essay awaiting for me on Wednesday! On the bright side, there will be no more orchestra rehearsals till the end of this term, phew!! finally! FREEEDOMMMMMMMM!!!

I went to the kampung ayer today and it was quite an experience. I have never been there before wah, and I got soo damn scared when we were walking on the wooden road/bridge. I kept clinging onto Yei Jin and Ms.White told me to "concentrate on taking pictures" hahahahaha which I could barely do at that time!! but I became pro later as I was running instead of walking (H) not~ hahaha but I think I had a few decent pictures...... I hope.

My hair is growing longer, I think. I'm getting used to it now.

Praise GOD! Our New Generation group is growing :) 12 people now! God is going to do amazing things in JIS :)

I'm learning Samba right now in drums, and I'm excited! dayummmmm hopefully by this weekend I can master the art of the complex samba rhythm! hmmmmm I still need to practise piano. I haven't touched the piano since... Friday. that's like physical suicide for my fingahzzzzzz.

What else is there to say? things are going good, when the tough gets going, the going gets tough! apakan!? but I'm trying to handle the workload with a lighter approach, and it's a usual attitude issue people deal with. like, when exams and homeworks are piling up and all, they would usually be all grumpy and worried and all that jazzzzzz, but you know, with God, man, we are more than CONQUERORS!! I'm gonna try not to panic so much, cuz I know everything's gunna be alright and it's all in His hands :) you should try it sometime too.

My best friend, Rora Lok Yee Chow, I miss you so so much. You're turning 17 soon! I'm sorry I even forgot about it man :( with everything happening, but yeah. LOVEYOU! hopefully I can give you a call :) my other bestie is back! man, I missed him so much. thank God for best friends. I find it weird how I have more good guy friends than girls, uwaaaaahwuahuahuah.

I FINALLY GET TO GO OUT THIS WEEKEND TO WATCH A MOVIE!!!!!! AND JAM!!!! Ohoh, our band needs a name. Any suggestions? We came up with AYA which stands for "Ashraf, Yvonne, Azeem" hahahaha SO LAME. at first it was YAA but you know, considering the initials, there wasn't much choice. Doh. It's amazing what music can do. Total strangers + 2 days of music = best of friends!

Alright, here's the jazzzz:

Friday: ? no idea, cuz it's international day. I think at 2.30 or lunch time.

ISN'T THAT COOL!?!?! hahaha (pls note the sarcasm btw). Can't believe I'll be staying in school for 10 hours!!!! that's just OVERRRRR man. Ohwelpz, only for International Day.. but I think sometimes the music students in JIS aren't greatly appreciated by JIS. Seriously, all the hours we spend practising in M1 after school on tuesdays, wednesdays, thursdays... and even lunch times. Sometimes I think we need a little bit more recognition Mr.Price!

I woke up supaaaa early for 1st service today and I am PROUD! von?! awake at 5.45am on a sunday morning?!?! noooooooooohwayyyyyyyyy- YESWAYYY!! haha yup yup and I even had time to style my funkay hair. I can't wait for the end of the year where I will be able to flaunt my LONG hair (cuz it's soooo short now, and I barely have any hair left! thanks to sam who thinned it. yes, dont go to 'cutting crew' in gadong ok :P dangerouso I tell you!) apart from that bunch of huhassss, I loved today's Word. I realized Pst Peter used the word "whooping" a lot of times also, which I found quite funnayyy hahaha. (reminded me of Alex and his Whooper Burger from Burger King!) My eyes got awaken in a way, knowing that I have to do something NOW in order to achieve my desires in the FUTURE... and I'm actually kinda excited :P I talked to my mum about America and music and everything else in between (not really, not like sandwich) and she said it's up to me, whatever I want to do.. and I'm not quite sure whether that's the correct response, or the response that I was hoping I'd get. I know my mum wants me to study in UK and all, but.... I can't really see myself living there now. but I know everything's going to be okay, cuz He's gonna make a way :) for meee~ and He will surely show me the correct direction He wants me to follow, for I'm sure He'll straighten my paths and guide me always. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

The New Generation group in JIS started off great! People are adding to the numbers week by week :) isn't that KOOLIOOOOO? we got 7 members, hoping to reach 10 by the end of the November! also hoping to reach out to unbelievers in school as well, since that is our main goal. After all, it is MY SCHOOL, MY RESPONSIBILITY! and I know God's going to open doors for many in JIS :) amen! I can't be bothered to write anymore, because I don't usually blog about my happenings and days and times and all that jazz, so I'm just going to leave you with one of my favourite praise songs :) (ehem ehem it would be my dream one day to play this)
