Yvonne is off to Philippines!

It's 7:51pm.
My flight is @ 10.30pm.
I just finished packing!
Am off to Philippines for a few days to attend my grandma's funeral.
Haha, you would think of me to be filled with grief and all... like normal people are supposed to feel when experiencing a death of a loved one, but surprisingly... am, happy!! I know fo'sho that my Lolapin has gone to be with the LORD, and I know she's in a place where everything's just... right, and good :) Her suffering has finally come to an end, and I know she's in a better place. I'm not saying that just for the sake of saying it, but I really think so :)

Paul's words have just encouraged me so much in the past week or so. Let's just say things are so insane for me right now! School work is OVERRRRR, and the amount of work that I have to do in Philippines is OVERRRRR, and with some hu-ha at home (nothing too extreme tho), and with the death of my grandma... everything's wayyyy OVERRRR! than I can handle! With exams coming up, my head is OVERRRR its like BOILING man! haha

but!

2 Corinthians 8-10

8Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I have been so crazily tired this whole week, and my body is physically exhausted as well.. AS Music is driving me crazy and I am not loving it that much, can't even begin to imagine what A2 Music will be like! I've tried to do it on my own, but the more I try, the less I accomplish because I simply cannot do it without Him. I've realized and learned that we should always put our trust in God... surrender everything to Him. Forget about everything else for a minute. Whatever essay, assignment, overdued work, or perhaps a friend,.. whatever or whoever it may be, just let it all go, and just focus on Him. Breathe. Focus on the One that gave it all for us. He is the strength of my heart and my portion forever :) (psalms).

Having my cousin, Lee Simon here was just awesome. He enjoyed his 2 weeks stay and I will never forget our praise and worship sessions haha and just talking to God :) I've learned a lot from my cousin who is still a young believer O_O and I can't wait to go to Victory church in Philippines! YAYYY Sunday service! :) but I miss Ps.Pete's preaching sosomuch.

I'm looking forward to seeing my wonderful Yapchulay family, and though as hectic it may get over there, I wanna be a blessing to all my family members and friends there :) cuz I know I was called out to shine for Him! in the dark places :D

Its 8.01pm, I gotta run!! God bless Y"ALL!! :D

Yvonne says.

Time flies by so fast, and it's actually quite scary come to think about it. In about a years time, I'll be sitting my A2 exams! and I'll be able to drive then :D:D:D! I've been so busy with school work and whatnot, but when all else fades at the end of the day, it always comes back to Him. I've come to realize that there's no time for silly arguments based on misunderstandings and also no time to get angry lah! Just enjoy each other's company and have a good laugh every now and then. It's easier to laugh than frown! When I just get so caught up with everything and life seems to be so busy and on the edge, I just persevere and pray. There's just something about prayer, it does something to you.. the moment you choose to let go and let Him take control of things, you know it's gonna be alright. Cuz we can't work everything with our own might and power, but by trusting in Him, things will start to work out and the day gets more brighter :)

So many people are leaving! Bernard, Ling and Jeremy, Alex.... who next? I miss Bernard sooo much already! I've learnt so many things from Ling and Jeremy.. and they are a dynamic duo! Impacting people's lives one at a time, always starving to see the hearts of young people meeting with God... I've grown so much because of them. I feel so greatful to have met them in the vital years of my life, that is, my teenage life.. because it's at this period of time where the decisions we make right now will affect our future. I'm so happy to have had guidance and Godly counsel from them :) knowing that I can turn to them for advice, guidance, or even just for a good laugh.. they're gonna do amazing things in Singapore! :)

I used to contemplate on the most useless things ever.. things not even worth thinking about! but I know that life goes on, people leave, people change, the atmosphere changes sometimes, but it's all GOOOOOOD, cuz it's all part of L I F E! and we've only got ONE life to live, so why not live it to the fullest? open the door for a stranger, give a warm smile to someone you may not know, study hard, get good grades, persevere, have a hunger for change, BE the change, be all out for God and fulfill his calling for your life!, laugh more, chase rabbits in the garden, run through sprinklers, play dodgeball, kiss in the rain (classic Notebook kiss), dress up, run the race and carry your cross for Him :)

We're all fashioned for greatness!!
